Week 1: Thursday Update

- Emmerdale (7.7m) averaged 2.0 points. daznov11 and Only_You scored 5ers.
- Waterloo Road (4.3m) averaged 2.9 points. C14E, cherubmattd and Pepsi_Max_Kid scored 5ers.
- The Apprentice ([HIGHLIGHT]*SPECIAL*[/HIGHLIGHT]- 6.9m) averaged 1.5 points. D.M.N. scored a 10er.

* Average score: 17.3 points.
* I promised you yesterday that The Apprentice would shake things up on our leaderboard, and it has! A great 10er for D.M.N. sees him climb 16 places and take the lead, but it's very close up there. Most of us didn't score much if anything for it though, with the series opener falling well short of the 8m expected.
* Tonight BBC Two welcome back Autumnwatch with open arms, but will the viewers? And E4 launch their new sitcom PhoneShop. Will this one have anyone near as much impact as The Inbetweeners? Check back tomorrow for all the numbers and info.
* The week 2 schedule will be posted this evening.
 
Haha. Great post! It's definitely a tough group in that respect. But you shouldn't sell yourself short, I've noticed you often perform better in special weeks than you do on a "normal" week whilst others struggle. And last season was I think your 2nd best ever? So not bad, and I reckon you'll build on that this season! :)
 
A few bits of game news to tell you about:

Week 2
AnthonyC has submitted a late entry. He has obviously been penalised through Monday's shows but will join in again from tomorrow.

Week 3
Next week we will be mixing things up a bit and revisiting something we first tried early this year: a split week. This means that instead of everybody predicting shows from the same schedule, players will be split randomly into groups which will each be assigned a different schedule, again at random. This time there will be three groups and schedules - one for Monday-Tuesday, one for Wednesday-Thursday and one for Friday-Sunday.

Within each group there will be a mini-game with one winner and then at the end of the week the scores will be brought together in the final update where an overall winner will be announced.

Pepsi_Max_Kid is in charge of the schedules for Monday-Tuesday and Wednesday-Thursday and I will be doing the schedule for Friday-Sunday.

The draws will take place tomorrow at 5pm - when you can find out what group you will be in and what schedule you will be predicting from. :)
