Dry mouth

Lately I've had a horrible dry mouth. It's getting so bad that no matter how much water or fluid I drink I'm always dehydrated and I get pains in my chest. Sometimes I can't even get out sentences or certain words and I'll stutter or slur. I was prescribed Adderall about 3 months ago and I know that is one of the side effects and I have always had dry mouth since I started but it's gotten worse. I have a habit of biting my lips and I don't know if that could be the cause of it....I was wondering of there is anything I can do for this because I can't get off Adderall because it helps out tremendously. I need some advice because I can't take much more of this.
 
Dentists can prescribe a mouth wash that helps with dry mouth. I'm not sure if it's available OTC but I know I read a little poster at my dentist's office about it. Dry mouth can really damage your teeth so it's important to get it treated.
