After reading your post NoSubstance, I agree with some of your views, but still stand by my own. I have met one cop who was good in my entire life, and it was when I thought someone was breaking into my house but they really weren't. I was just hearing things.
Well, all the rest I have encountered have been assholes. They have all had that attitude, that "Power Game" attitude. I don't know if it's because of where I have lived or what, but I really don't trust authority figures. They scare the hell out of me, because if they turn on you, you are screwed.
The cops you see on Cops are usually the good ones. However, if you get pulled over on the road, it's most likely the cop is an asshole. It may just be those cops who are assholes, I'm not sure.
I just think this way because I have only had one positive experince with the cops. The rest I have had were horrible. If I made any false assumptions (Which I'm pretty sure I did now), then I am sorry.
