Drunk morons + slick roads = trouble

I'm royally pissed off right now. I was just on my way home from work, and the roads are a little slick because it just got done raining. I was doing a pretty good speed (55 in a 60 zone) and I come up on this intersection. I can see it about a mile ahead, and it turned green about 15 seconds before I got to it. Well, some asshole who was most likely drunk decided that they were going to run a red light on the intersecting road. So I have to slam on my breaks, which sends my car skidding a good 40 feet, then spins it around and puts me in a DEEP ditch. I look in my rearview mirror and I can see the stupidass still going, weaving from lane to lane.
The part that pissed me off the most: There was a highway patrol car less than 100 feet from where I went into the ditch and had a clear view of what happened, yet they neither checked to see if I was okay, nor did they chase after the fucker that almost collided with me.

It's late and too dark to inspect my car, plus I'm too tired.. there isn't anything that I can see so far... but it's hard to tell. I'll have to give it a lookover tomorrow morning to see if anything on the underside got fucked up.
I will be pissed if there is any damage.
 
this is the second time this shit has happened in a month.. last time though I was directly behind a four car pile up in the middle of a busy intersection and almost became the 5th car. Some ass was doing 85 in a pickup, ran a redlight, and smashed into three cars that had just pulled into the intersection. Damn cops came and questioned me about what happened, and I almost lost it when I saw the paramedics pulling out body bags... it was a really bad fuckin wreck, I saw one of the engines of one of the cars laying in the street. Knowing that I could just as well have ended up in that body bag was a chilling thought. I wonder how some of these fuckers even manage to get their licenses sometimes.

and like we saw two accidents
one was a car in the middle ditch...kinda smashed through the metal railing

i wonder that all the time......this kinda sounds like final destination..that movie..you've cheated death..and now it's trying to get you, sorry if that makes it worse, i wouldn't want you all freaked out over that now, lol
 
They are the cops. What do you expect? They claim to be there for you, when all they really do is have a major attitude, conform to everything, and never bother to question a way of thinking.

If I was a cop, and if someone had Marijuana, I would not repremand them. Why? Because I'm much smarter than most police, even at the age of 15. I know what laws are truly counter-productive, and should be stopped. The police I have encountered are pricks, and are not to be trusted. How we can have idiots like that protecting our people is beyond me.

If you trust the police, then there must be something wrong with you. Would you trust Bush with a gun? That's kind of what our police force is like. Incompetent, ignorant, and overall tyrannistic. Anyone who works like that is automatically inable to hold any "Real World" job. True, their psychology allows them to handle the stress, but they deserve to be stressed out. People like that are complete wastes of space.

Get the fuck out of my country, you are halting the progression of laws and the legal system. Maybe we could hire intelligent people to work our police force, and not these control freaks who play "power games."
 
me too..i'm soo paranoid of authority i freak out just to see them...and if they look over at me i freak out like oh shit what are they thinking..., even if they're on my side like when this dumbass never caught but have suspicion to who it is..broke my window trying to break into my truck..also tried to bust out the lock, failed..lolz my truck rulz.....but the cops on my side filling out reports, taking finger prints, yadada..but i was still all freaked

i took a personality disorder test...it said i ranked high in obsessive compulsive, schizo-typical, and very high in avoidant and paranoid...eh, go figure..
 
Do you have brown skin? I have that problem too sometimes. Although it's usually magnified if I'm caring a home electronic device such as a stereo or television.
 
That's so far from the truth, I don't even know where to begin.

"Incompetent, ignorant, and overall tyrannistic" is not how I would describe our police force. These people put their lives on the line every day to keep your ass safe, and all but a few of them put their lives in the back seat for yours. "Their psychology" that you speak of is a myth. There's no teachings in the Police Academy that says "Be a hardass, push the little man around," or any other such thing police are stereotyped for. That's the individual, not the whole.

For every "bad cop," there's so many police that do see grey areas, that do know what its like to feel unrepresented, uncared for, and unsafe that it makes these stereotypes look unjustified, and that's because they aren't justified at all.

What, I ask, have the police ever done to you? I'm not you, but I can guarantee the following things: They make themselves targets for endless amounts of criticism (as you've shown), anti-police and gang violence, and they take tons of shit when one police officer does something wrong (and there have been a lot of them, I'll assure you), and all in the name of saving your ass when its in trouble, keeping the citizens safe, and doing their best to see that justice is served.

In L.A., it is almost a rite of passage to kill a policeman. These police know that, and they still suit up every day and do their best. Would you do the same?
 
While there are a good number of fucked up officers who have a major superior attitude problem, the majority of cops actually get into it to help people, maybe make a difference somewhere........what I really love is that the people who bitch and whine about cops being unfare and sucking are usually the one's being arrested.......go figure--you fucking illegal bastards

And if the cops suck so much why do you call them when something happens against you???????? (they're cool then huh?)
