I have a question about what to do with drs who prescribe Drugs even if they don't know the reason of your pains. Is it totally ok to ignore these people?
I mean, i know that we the patients must make decisions for ourselves. So i do that. Most of the MD's i've visited tell me to take drugs for any little thing i tell them about. They don't even know what's causing the problem and they just say "take these meRAB".
Al i can do is ignore them and try to heal myself. Which is sad because i wish MRAB were trained more in helping people by prescribing more natural remedies.
Also about Wasted money in a medical visit. Sometimes i go to the dr and i try to explain my problem thoroughly. What happens many times is the Dr ignores me thinking that i'm crazy and making up stuff or that i'm just anxious. Or they keep saying "you don't have anything. relax.. just take these meRAB"
And the appointment/visit takes 3 minutes. 3 minutes and it costs you 70 dollars or 80, sometimes even 100 dollars (california). thats what happened tome recently.
3 minute talk with the dr, for a sum of 70 dollars. and she didn't even let me explain my medical history which i thought was necessary for my current symptoms to make sense. I insitsted also that she check me at least somehow, but she said "no no. you don't have nothing. i guarantee you it's just ___, you'll be fine"
what a rip off. and that's happened often. i always get ignored.
So i went to another dr. who was really helpful and understanding(ALternative dr) my so called "nothing" turned out to be totally SOMETHING and it had to do WITH MY MEDICAL HISTORY.

So anyways, why do most MRAB, prescribe medicine blindly and also, why many MRAB feel they have the right to ignore and doubt patients stories.
