I have been dealing with thrush that hasn't responded to treatment of lozenges, nystatin, and 14 day fluconazole treatment. Throught all this I was tested 4 times for HIV, 3 rapid and one blood, so I'm clear on that. So my question why the hell is nothing working, I can only assume I did this to myself, since I rarely eat somethig that isn't fast food, and used to pound sweet teas like crazy (don't do anymore). So has anyone else felt with this? I'm going to try a different antifungal this week hopefully! I'm at a loss and it's kinda scared, I'm a guy, I'm told this is very rare! Been dealin with this for over a year and has been bad for 6 months with the cotton mouth

any info would be great!

Has your partner been tested for thrush?

Have you changed your tootrabroadrush regularly? What other meRAB are you taking and what other health issues do you have?

It's a relief you're not HIV +

You could look at an antifungal diet as well as take some supplements such as Olive Leaf extract, Caprylic acid and high dosages of probiotics.

Have been trying that diet...why wouldn't treatment work? Could it be that I had it so long and didn't get it handeled? I'm
going to try a different anti fungal soon...could the fact that I need dental work done on some decaying teeth be it? Was going to wait til trush was gone but rethinking that now....

Have you been tested for diabetes? I also get thrush at the drop of a hat and got it for a year+ and finally found out I had diabetes. Once that was treated I was better.

Don't drink any milk either....milk sugar is bad. And yes, your teeth may be hiding some source of it.....lungs too. I got it on my vocal corRAB and it was hard to stop it from going into my lungs but I saw a pulmonologist who got really aggressive with it and stopped it. But it kept showing up in my mouth because it was on my vocal corRAB.

Good luck....thrush is a real pain.

Good advice to heed regarding diabetes. Definitely something to get checked.

Definitely get your teeth checked out.

Hope you find answers for it's true that it's difficult to treat sometimes.
