...ER or wait to see my doctor? I've recently started experiencing wisdom tooth pain, and have been taking Aleve (naproxen) to combat the pain until I can see my dentist. Today is the third day of taking the Aleve, and I noticed blood in the toilet. I thought, initially, that I had started my period early but further investigation shows that I have not. While searching the internet, it says that gastrointestinal bleeding is an uncommon side effect of taking both paroxetine and naproxen..

My only guess is that I am having that side effect, which would explain the random bloody water accompanying my stool. No where, however, did I find the severity of such an interaction. Should I be going to the ER, or should I be safe to wait until Monday? Should I stop taking the Aleve? If so, what can I take for pain management that wouldn't have such an interaction?
Ibuprofen and naproxen are both NSAIDs, the kind of medication that causes this side effect. I'll just rough it for the night, thank you though.
