dropped iphone in water?

so i dropped my iphone in the sink when i was washing my contacts. i took it out after about 3 seconds but not the speakers aren't working. i did the rice thing, its not working... and now there's a grain of rice stuck in the f***ing headphone jack. do i just wait longer for the rice to get to work? or am i doomed
