Droid X vs. Droid Incredible vs. Droid 2 vs. Fascinate vs. Wait

I cant decide out of the list of these phones.

Droid X
Droid Incredible
Droid 2
Fascinate


or to just wait for something else to come out. Is anything coming out for android devices at Verizon anytime soon? I'm ok without a physical keyboard. but i know that is a nice option on the Droid 2. Also I have very low signal in my house, so the more signal a phone gets the better.
 
For Verizon, there's the Merge which is an HTC with a slider, and we may expect some low to mid end Android types by LG, Motorola and HTC. The R2D2 Droid2 has come out. Rumors are rife with a Droid T2 or a Droid Pro with world frequencies.

But all these don't offer that much of an improvement over the ones already mentioned.

Personally, I would drop the Fascinate off that list, and concentrate on the Droid 2, Droid Incredible and Droid X, with Android 2.2 either built in or OTA upgrades on the way.

If you have a low signal on your house, you can result in high battery drainage if you're using data. The solution to that is to have wifi on your house for your phone to sync data on, then go to 3G when you're out of your house. I got the same situation, and using the wifi helps me reduce battery usage. A minimal signal won't affect your ability for voice calls and texts however. You can still get 3G data with a low signal but the phone would be throwing more power to its signal, and hence greater battery drain. Just some advice ahead.
 
Forget the Fascinate. It's ok, but it just isn't up to the same level as the others.

If you really want a physical keyboard, get the Droid 2 (or R2Droid2, if you're so inclined).

If you feel the Droid X is too big, get the Incredible. If you are worried about size, go and try out a Droid X first, you might find it isn't as big as you think.

Otherwise get the Droid X. That's what I did.

Then again, you could wait. But there will always be another big release "right around the corner," and you might end up waiting forever.
 
I went from Droid to Fascinate and am very happy with it. The AMOLED screen is beautiful. I liked the large size of the X but I am happy with my choice.
