I recently manually installed the 2.2 froyo update on my HTC incredible. I downloaded the official update file off of googles servers and applied the update through the standard boot menu. Upon the finish and reboot of the update, my phone has been running disgustingly slow. none of my messanger applications including the stock one will open. they simple do not respond. obviously i have done something wrong. is there i way i can downgrade back to 2.1, or initiate an OTA update of the 2.2 firmware directly from the google servers. anything that will make my phone more useful than a brick?
Also... please dont just advertise another phone. and mike, i prefer a phone that is capable of getting antenna reception without grounding through the metal case and losing all hope of a signal.
