Driving!

That's retarded. My dad drives a Lexus, my mom drives a Subaru, and the turn signals are in the same place as the American cars we've owned in the past.

UK FTL. Regulate that shit. It's disgusting how Europe is only beginning to catch up to the immense safety regulations we've had for decades.

You guys surpass us in emissions regulation and that's it. Doesn't say much because we were ahead of you for 30 years in that area too...

$6,000. Cheap because it was on the lot for two months, and they were going to either wholesale it or sell it to me for six grand.

2002 Hyundai XG350L, completely loaded, every option from the factory besides trunk mounted CD changer. It's classified as a near-luxury car. Certified pre-owned, three year bumper to bumper warranty, 63,000 miles.

I got really lucky. It's been bought, I just need to get the insurance ready. Can't wait till Monday .

I drive a real car. The '69 Valiant in my profile pic is what I drive. It's paid for.

And btw, an 80's Nissan is reliable and easy to work on. Parts are cheap.

Sorry, we don't drive to impress.

I did, a 83 nissan station wagon, it would drive circles around your dumb ass hyundai. I drove one that I worked for and bought on my own. Not all of us suckle of mommy's teat, and some of us wouldn't even if we could.

I wouldn't buy a car that sat on the lot and the dealers were wanting to get rid of it. Shit, I know sales in and out. The only time you give someone a great deal is when nobody else will take the standard deal. You got screwed, and you don't even know it yet.

Hyundai, near luxury? Isn't that an oxymoron? I never thought Hyundai could even be mentioned in the same sentence as luxury...

I guess I'm sucking my own teat then because I'm paying for the car, registration, inspection, insurance, you name it, I'm paying for it.

And I wouldn't suck this figurative tit you talk about if the opportunity came. I like working for shit. It gives me pride.

Um, your grandma gave you money, and I'm fairly sure you don't actually have a job that would allow you to pay for those things if you also had to pay rent, electricity, food, heat, water, sewage, taxes. I live in the real world. I drive what gets my kids to school and I can afford. Sorry if it doesn't fit your upper middle class lexus driving daddy lifestyle, but I can live with that.

I'm glad you are proud of your car, but I think you made a poor choice in your first car.

I'd drive a Nissan before a Hyundai, and I hate Nissan. My dislike of Nissan is from personal experience, and my complete dislike of Hyundai is because of a friend's experience; he also had bad experiences with Nissan.

I got my license first try. January, streets were slick; in fact, slick enough that although I felt I was OK, I got docked points for following too close for conditions. One more demerit, however, and I would've failed.

Descent, have fun getting your money from insurance when your Hyundai is wrecked, your fault or not. Dealers never sell cars for "deals" unless there's a reason; most of the time they just need a sucker to take them up on it.
