Driving me itchin insane

I am 25 years old and I have mrsa as of now I have a really bad outbreak on my breast. My whole body is itching beyond imagination; specifily my back, my neck, my thighs, under my breast (rib area), under my arms, the back of my arms (back under arm area), my stomach (around my bell button) also above my vagina. I have come to notice a lot (not all) but some of the areas I am itching are areas that have strech marks and areas that sweat. I have been to the hospital 3 times and they have sent me home saying there is nothing they can do for me. I have not slept in days cuz when I do I am itching in my sleep also which keeps me up. I am going insane. The only time I can sleep is when laying in a bath tub full of water; sadly. I've tried lotion thinking maybe I have dry skin. It works for a little while (mean maybe mins). Benadryl doesn't seem to do anything for me either. I haven't change any kind of soap, detergent, deoterent, or anything else I can think of. I've tried showering without soap and not using deoterent for 2 days to see if a change would occur, but nothing. Also, my hands itch like crazy so bad that I have tiny blisters and peeling skin.
As far as stress wise, I don't feel stressed out. I know sometimes you may not feel stressed out but maybe mentally you are, so that could be a possiablity. I am totally helpless and don't know what more to do and I am going insane. I do not have insurance or money to go to numerous doctors for them to tell me absolutly nothing. So if anyone has any suggestions it would be very helpful. I am willing to try anything at this point. I also tried an oatmeal bath, which also did nothing to relieve the compulsive itching.

Please someone help me, I am desperate to the point I am in tears and I am exausted.

Thanks,
Jes

Hi,
Have you read about mrsa? Extremely serious.

Is there another hospital E.R. you could go to? From what I have read (don't want to scare you) it can be VERY serious.

If you go to ER with diagnosed mrsa and they turn you away, I just do not understand.

If there is no other ER, is there a free clinic you could go to? I don't know how big of a city you live in, but if you are near a university some of them have teaching hospitals. Someone else will be on here with better advice, but I would do whatever it takes to get treatment. I am just dumbfounded the hospital basically turned you away.

Good luck, please update if you can.

yeah the mrsa is pretty serious, but the hospitals i've been to don't make it seem like it is, so im really not to sure. i live in miami. i've been to a few er's already about the mrsa. i recently went to the er and they still haven't done anything for the itching or mrsa. i guess it's because i dont have insurance they keep advising me to see a primary but i don't have one, like i said i have no insurance and who can afford to go to the dr being a self pay.

Hi Jes
Sorry to hear of your dilemma. I am going thru an almost identical situation as you. I'm in Canada so I can go to the doc. I've tried all the things you have, and so far no relief. I have been experiencing this since Dec 9 2009. I feel we are subjected to environmental toxins, as well as toxins in our food (what goes in must come out). If there is anyway you could do an intestinal cleanse, I suggest you give it a try. Go to the library and try and get the book "The Detox Strategy" by Brenda Watson. It is an amazing book and I believe it will get you on the road to cleansing your body of the toxins. Rashes are a warning that our body is out of balance, you must find out what YOUR imbalance is. We are all different. You can fix this, but you must be prepared to make changes in your eating habits and lifestyle. Good luck...keep us posted.
