I recently have obtained a car that has not been moved for a couple of years. A friend of mine told me that if it were to pass the smog test then it would need to be driven a lot to clean out all of the bad gas and oil that has just been sitting in there for the past couple of years. I don't know much about cars so I was wondering if he was right, and if he is how am I supposed to drive it? I thought it was illegal to drive a car that hasn't been inspected or failed the test. Oh and it is a 1991 Honda Acord... if that helps at all.
