It is generally said that if you are driving a bike and want to turn to the other road, you should not release the engine free i.e. clutch always be engage. If you disengage the clutch, there is a chance for slippage. I am not certain for this. Does anyone have a nice answer?

Well if your racing and taking a curve at 100mph then yea, but riding at normal speed it doesnt really matter, it is a bad habbit to get into though, cause if you pull it in and pre shift down then let goo in the curve the back tire will go out from under you!!!, but just turning onyo a street or slowing down around a curve to stop ull b fine i still do it through my neighborhood sometimes, try to keep from it on the street though just to develop good habits...just try to shift down before the curve or stay in the gear ur in if u can..
