Does anyone know where to download Drivers/Software for A50 Data Cable, please?

Hello,
Siemens A50 phones use the serial cable for PC connection. You don't need any driver for this. Set only the baudrate. About the software, search on this forum.

- how to set up serial port and baud rate etc?
- what specific software should be looking for?

about you question I response now to you:
- if you need to unlock your phone use the Joker, Freia or SST to unlock and the service cable (see on attachemment).
- if you need to transfer data between your phone and PC, use the serial data cable (you have the possibility to by from the all Siemens mobile phones providers) and the Phone Manager software (Clever Cell Phone Manager, for example).
-about serial port settings, set baudrate to 19200 Kbs (max. 115200 Kbs) and com to 1,2,3,4 (what com is pluged your cable).

about your question I response now:
-about the serial port set your Com port with baudrate (default) 19200 or to 155200 (max.) and the Com 1,2,3,4 (verify on which port is connected your cable).
-about the software, if you need to unlock your phone (you need supplimentary to make the testpoint) use the service cable (see on attachemment) and Freia, Joker or SST software. If you need to transfer data between your mobile phone and PC, use the data cable (buy froom the all Siemens phone providers) and the Phone Manager software (example "CleverCell Phone Manager").

Many thanks – that’s most helpful! I wonder if you could please clarify something regarding the software. My phone is already unlocked. I purchased a cable with SST-GSM SST Service Toolbox 5.32. simply because it stated that it also included phonebook and ringtone management functions. I have been quite unable to locate these functions. Should you happen to be familiar with this software and know how to locate hese missing functions that would mean it is not a wasted purchase.? Thanks again.

SST is the software for unlock or flash your mobile phone. Not is for the data exchange. I searched on internet software for the data exchange for your phone, but not find it.
