Dreamworks announces Me and My Shadow.

That actually sounds awesome! More hand-drawn animation on the big screen, and from DreamWorks of all people!

The way the Shadow world is hand-drawn and the human world is CGI sounds pretty cool and if the CGI is going to be as good as HTTYD, this movie's going to be beautiful.:D

*spits out drink*

CGI and traditional animation....TOGETHER!? That's just un-possible! :p

(So, which world will be CGI and which one traditional I wonder)

I'm actually much more interested in a lot of the things in the pipeline at Dreamworks Animation than pretty much any other major animation studio out there. This sounds like another worthwhile addition to the line-up. Now if only I could see some forward momentum on some of these projects I'm interested in.

Me and the Shadow sounds like a way for DWA to do a hybrid film without live action and a return to traditional animation after ten years although they have dabbled with it with films like Kung Fu Panda and the HTTYD short film.

I think they were considering a live action/CGI hybrid with Imaginary Enemies, would be interesting to see DWA tackle a hybrid as they hasn't been a great one since Roger Rabbit.
