Dream Girls(2006)-Fame Comes And Goes, Stars Rise And Fall, But Dreams Live Forever

Some movies that are that hyped up by critics and stuff aren't very good to audiences but this one is.

I started cracking up at the part. It was sooo funny because the guy and the girls could not sing:lol:
 
yeah i'm so mad lol. People keep telling me that maybe it's cuz it was a monday release and they will get it on thursday when they change the movies..but that doesn't explain how all 4 got Black Christmas yesterday lol
 
I know no one else has posted again, but I just had to post again.

I just watched Oprah from today and there were some tidbits on Dream Girls. First of all Oprah called Jennifer Hudson to tell her she had seen the movie and what a great performance she had given and how proud she was of her. Jennifer couldn't believe it was her. :lol:

Then they showed some Jamie Foxx and Beyonce backstage stuff at Oprah's show. I also saw a glimpse of Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Hudson. The big Dream Girls show airs Monday. I can't wait. :woot:
 
Just saw Jennifer on Jay Leno :D She is very chatty and nice! She also sang and did great! :clap:
 
thats so awesome. i've been hearing from a lot of people how Jennifer gets a standing ovation. I hope that happens when i go see it, that would be awesome
 
I saw an advanced screening of Dreamgirls last night... It was fantastic! People were standing up to give Jennifer Hudson a standing ovation in the middle of the movie! And the audience broke out into applause like 5-6 times during the film.

And I know Jennifer Hudson is getting all the buzz right now, and she deserves it, but Beyonce was also very good.

It was really really good! I am going to go get the soundtrack today.

And Go Beyonce, Jennifer, and Eddie for getting Golden Globe noms today! :)
 
i loved her speech! she was so happy that she got it. you could tell how bad she wanted it


and the performance was great...@ first, i didn't like the idea of blending the songs together, but now after seeing it, it turned out great
 
Are they going to perform all those songs. I just about threw my tv out the front door that year Beyonce sang every damm song. Even the one in Latin:rolleyes:

Listen is a great song so is Patience. That other one was blah
 
I saw this movie when it came out and absolutely loved it. Jennifer Hudson steals the show.
 
maybe they don't wanna overexpose it...i know some friends who are refusing to see it jsut cause of how much it's been hyped...i've been trying to convince them to see it..but no luck so far:(


btw i saw it for a 2nd time. lol something i didnt mention before...did anyone else laugh at the "white/commercial" version of Cadillac Car? as soon as i see those girls bopping side to side as the camera pans over them, i start laughing lol
