I wish they would release the DVRAB cause at the moment all I have to watch for them is youtube clips :sigh: It would be awesome if fan demand saw them release a speciial compilition of all the Drazic/Antia scenes. They could call it the Draxic/Anita love story DVD :) Well Home And Away did somethinjg similar for Shane and Angel anyway :P
 
All of that is really weird, i mean, i always thought they were back together 1 episode before the final because they acted like a couple but before that i don't know i think they were more frienRAB than a couple. I loved a lot of shows where the coupls didn't have buil up and got back together off screen but you do know that they are together because they kiss and stuff. That wasn't the case for Drazic & Anita.

As for Jet, i'm actually relieved Drazic only got ONE love interest besides Anita, the guy's supposed to be a bad boy and yet the girl dated tons of guys (Charlie, Kurt, Todd etc..) and he only dated a girl for 4 episodes.

i love your posts about D&A, you pointed out some stuff that i haven't figured when i watched the show. I need to rewatch some scenes.
 
I know, it was weird to see them be just frienRAB. But I think that only lasted for the one ep when she came back. I think she came to get him back and started by just being there for him through his dad's death. Then next ep, her way of telling him that she was there to be with him was her comment about "who's says I won't?" when Draz expected her to leave again. That night they must have got back together (damn the writers for denying us that scene lol but they must have thought we'd seen them get back together enough times already :lol:) because the next scene we see them in, he's calling her babe and then the next ep, Thania's talking about them like they're a couple and he refers to her as his girlfriend to the homeless boy. I hate that we didn't see them get back together but hey, beggars can't be chosers lol. I've been burned with a lot of shows, at least our couple ended up together. I can deal with the little complaints about more stuff we wanted as long as they end up together ;)

ETA: Also, it did annoy me that Anita was into Todd but only really in the way that Draz was into Jet. I think what pushed Anita into thinking she loved Todd was her underlying anger at Draz for his cheating on her. She was always kinda pissed at him for one reason or another from the Mai hookup, through their break up and getting back together, up until the Todd thing. That's what I think blew it out of proportion for her. She wasn't actually in love with Todd. How could she be if she left him after like a month and a half of them being together and went back to get Draz back? It was Draz that she was always in love with. She was attracted to Todd and I'm sure what really got her to like him was how much Draz hated him. Unconsciously she used him to get back at Draz. It's not until after she comes back in 203 that she's totally over the whole cheating thing and realises that she's been wasting time - Todd says she broke up with him saying she needed to figure things out and that's exactly what she would have been thinking IMO. Then when she's back with Draz, before Todd knows he says "are you happy?" she says "yes, very". She was finally over all the silly high school drama of her and Draz and wanted to be with him for real, which is why she said yes when he asked her to marry him. I think if he'd asked her to marry him up until he cheated with Mai, she would've said yes straight away. But between then and after she dumped Todd, if he'd asked her when they were together from 186 on, she would've said no because she was still stuck on the cheating. They got back together in 186 because she always loved him but she was still mad at him IMO. It didn't fully go away until she'd had her unconscious 'revenge' and she'd realised that it didn't make her happy, only being with Drazic could :love: This is what I think anyway. It's the only explanation for it all :shrug:
 
Aw that scene in the classroom was heartbreaking, you really feel for Drazic at that moment, he lost the love of his life :(... until she came back.

First couple i ever shipped, and i still watch the show a lot, since i've all the epis on tape! Too bad we won't get dvd anytime soon! I don't think i'll ever forget them, and Callan and Lara have one of the best chemistry ever.

You and I both, first thing i did when i came home from school was to sit my ass in front of the tv, i did my homework afterwarRAB lol.



I loved how they became close later, roomies and all.
 
Yeah I didn't mind as much when Drazic had the one-night stand with Mai because it felt very realistically done the way they showed him getting into bed to comfort her after the break-in, and one thing just leading to another

With Anita it was more a case of actually falling for the guy and choosing him over Drazic which I had a big problem with. Although I did like the scene where Drazic freaks out and smashes up the classroom after finding out about it, they got an intense storyline out of it, but it just didn't feel very respectful to Drazic and Anita's relationship overall.
 
haha yeah well i watch the episodes a lot both in French (on my tapes) and more recently in english thanks to internet.

i don't have time to check the pages check but LOL! i loved these 2, and how much ryan hated drazic with his sister! :lol:

What i didn't like about the Todd storyline is that unlike Mai & Drazic, it wasn't a one night stand, she was into him :puke: BLAH. At least Drazic felt awful after his night with Mai.

Something weird is how they were frienRAB when she came back, it was awkward to me because they were never frienRAB before between all their break up, it was all angst, but there seeing them all buddy-buddy confused me a little.
 
^It is true that Drazic & Anita's sex life was always implied, like we can figure out they had sex for the first time in the shakespeare play episode because he spent all night at her place and then the next day Ryan told him "Now that got what you wanted, you're gonna move to another girl" or something like that and then Drazic replied "I respect her more than that"

Another sex time implied is when they got back together after she failed her degree, they were kissing on the couch at night then we jumped through early morning with Anita dressed exactly the same way as the night before and Drazic with new clothes and they ask each other if they're okay blabla.
