Dragons and Bulldogs media and public attention?

It seems every time you open a weekend or slow news day paper there is an article about the Dragons and how Bennet the Messiah has turned the club around etc etc.
It seems odd to me that the bulldogs are getting nowhere near the attention or the acolades even though what they have achieved it far more remarkable.
For one, had they not been robbed by the video ref the dogs should be 9-2 with 20 points while the dragons, 8-4 in 6th place with 16 points (albeit with a game in hand).
Kevin Moore has not only brought out the best in younger players such as Hannant and Stagg (playing far better than they did under Bennet), he has also reinvigorated Kimmorley and Ryan, two players who looked like they were getting past it, a feat much harder than getting the best out of young guys with potential like Bennet has done with Creagh and Soward.

What Bennet has done is impressive but everyone knew the Dragons had it in them. BTW I am definitely not a dogs fan.
Does the Sydney media have a strange obsession with Wayne Bennet?
Do you think flying under the raidar will prove an advantage to the Bulldogs?
Na Mel. Eagles fan through and through
i live in Manly and used to ballboy for them.
The dogs were my least favourite club up until they began turning things around on and off the field

The dragons seem to get a lot of favours after Bennett took over the win against the dogs was a joke .The bulldogs are getting a fair dinkum raw deal on the field this year but where they sit on the ladder is a credit to them .I am a bulldog fan and i am very proud of them the way they are conducting their selves after so many BAD calls against them. [Bennett always had the favours at the broncos as well so whats new.]

Well Wayne Bennett is part of the Bulldogs success as well.
There was a writing in the paper a while back and Ennis, Hannant, Stagg and Eastwood (even though he was looking to head overseas) all said Wayne encouraged them to move to the Bulldogs where there would be more opportunities for them and they would enjoy it more when they were deciding what to do with their careers after their contracts with the Broncos ended.

Before the season started the media claimed Bennett would be the saviour for the Dragons and lead them to a premiership....and whenever the media are right (which is not all that often)the will harp on about it forever. Big Dell always attracts some media attention as well (when i say some i mean a $ hit load!)

I think flying under the radar would be better because if the Dragons "choke" or don't do very well in the finals they will get hammered by the media just like that *clicks fingers* but if the Doggies fail they will most likely be left alone because they have been the underdogs this year (no pun intended lol) after they received the wooden spoon last year which i thought would have gotten them more media attention
