Dragonball Z/GT Appreciation Thread #1.

yeah im not a fan of gohan when hes older he changes alot and i do agree hes not himself during that time it is quite odd...i really hate his bowl cut his mother gave him as a kind.. its like why did she have to ruin his cute hair!

i can see why most people would form the consensus that everyone hates Vegeta. When i look at it Vegeta has alot of enemies and i think hes jsut trying to do whats best for him i mean yeah hes evil and its upsetting to see but theres just something i like about him like maybe that hes quite smart and doesnt want to waste time with people that are not good enough to fight.

I also love Chichi :nod: She was really funny and sure had a strong temper lol Remeraber when Goku meet her years after their first meeting and they had a fight against each other and she was so mad he didn't ask in marriage and then even didn't remeraber her :lol: Poor Goku but as nice as he was he just agree to marry her lol
And she was funny with Gohan too when she didn't want him to go and fight like his father but I was surprise when we saw that it was actually because of her that Goten became a Super Saiyan the first time :D

I also love the frienRABhip between Goten and Trunk :nod: especially knowing the relation between their fathers !

Well, I'm always watch DBZ time to time because at the time it was on air here I recorded it and I keep it until now :D But I don't really have all the eps though !

Anyway, I don't really have one favorite character because I loved them all in general (well Satan not so much and at first I didn't really like Videl either lol) but of course one of my favorite is Goku :D and I really like Vegeta and both of their son Gohan &Trunk :love:

I think it's from the two last one that that there's ep I don't have on tape, I just saw them once and it was a while ago that's gonna be great to see them again :)
And I saw there was some like to the "movies" too and I didn't see them all either :D
 
I liked Gohan as a character until he became a Young Adult... He just seemed so Un-Gohan like to me, not to mention alot weaker than his Teenage self last scene in the Cell Saga.

And I'm surprised by all this adoration for Vegeta; When I was a kid, My Sibblings and I that character's guts (and didn't properly come to like him until he admitted Goku was better than him), so I figured that was the consensus everywhere. But that doesn't seem to be the case, surprisingly.

Yeah the show was pretty famous in France I still talk about it with frienRAB :D We loved watch this show and I still like it :nod:

The other day I was watching the ep when Goku was for the first time in Super Saiyan 3 to fight Buu and I love what Badidi said once he saw him changed from normal to super sayian 3 : "You changed you hair so what ?" :lol:
 
I love them both :nod: Goten and Trunks are so cute together :sigh: They are great fighters :nod: and I love their frienRABhip :sigh: and it is kinda funny that Vegeta's son and Goku's son are having such a frienRABhip :lol:
 
im a big fan of the trunks saga thought the freiza saga from what i have been told about it looks okay.

i want to marry gohan hes cute!!! what a cute little kid...and adult..ohhh but i still lvoe vegeta more.

I love Mirai!Trunks (the future one) but the one in normal timeline didn't do it for me. :shrug: I like Goten better. :lmao:

I like 18 :shrug: She was really cool :nod: she did beat up almost everyone in their saga ;) I was not a fan of 17 :shrug: 16 was cool :nod:

When Trunks returns from the Time Charaber, he has this really long hair :thud: damned. that was so hot :sigh: :lol: Trunks is cool :nod:
 
I don't like Mr. Satan either, he was so fake. :look: And I have the same thing with G/V! I mean, they were cute before, when she didn't like him and always tried to beat him, but suddenly they got together and that just .. stopped. And her hair! :pout:

Yeah, DBZ had some really funny moments. :lmao:
 
I used to Record Dragon Ball Z/Dragon Ball (After the Freiza Saga) everyday it came on Toonami. It was my favorite show to watch next to Sailor Moon (R), Ronin Warriors, and Gundam Wing.

My sibblings and I would chase Our Parents out of the room whenever we were watching that show, and my Ma used to tease us about it by calling the fight scenes "Lines moving across the screen". I was crazy nuts about Son Goku and his relationship with Chi-Chi, they were favorite couple on the show, next to Yamcha/Bulma. Goku, then Gohan, going Super Sayain/Super Sayian II has be one of my favorite moments in the entire show.

Cell is undoubtedly my favorite Villian and "No More Rules" is my favorite Perfect Cell episode; Did you see the Animation in that one? So freakin' fluid, especially when Goku and Cell were zooming across the Tournament ring, beating the living crap out of each other.

Getting to see Dragon Ball was the one of the highlights of 2001 for me; Way more laughs packed in every episode as opposed to BDZ and it was funny to look at Goku and Bulma as kiRAB (particularly in the first episode).

If had anything I didn't like about DBZ, it was Post-Perfect Cell Episodes and The Majin/Bibidi Sagas. By then, I got the feeling the Toei Animation and Akira Toriyama had reached their limit with the series. Don't get me started on DBGT.
