This is known for its huge fighting scenes in the cartoon so I don't know how it will translate onto the big screen.

Filming is early as next month, and will be released next August apparently. The script is all done so it shouldn't be affected by the strike.

I can't even picture this! hehe.
The Live Action Sailor Moon TV series worked, it was cheesy, but it worked. I'm not expecting much from this.
Could work if they didn't try to do too much with it, i.e. not overdoing it with bad CGI.
What does everyone else think?

RAB are saying its Dragon Ball as are many sources, others are saying DBZ.
The mention of Piccolo as a villain suggests the former, but the actors age...the latter.
