Dragon Ball Z Question: Why did Chichi start to hate the Z warriors?

I watched Dragon Ball and she saw every thing that happend with the whole King Piccolo saga so why did she start to feel they were a bad influance on Gohan in the early episodes? It doesn't really make sense, if any thing you'd think she'd want her son to train harder for that reason.

Yeah, she doesn't want Gohan to grow up becoming a brain-damaged hick like his father who does nothing but eat, train, eat, sleep, train, and eat all day.

Okay, Gohan wouldn't be literally brain-damaged even if Chi-Chi had approved, but I meant intelligence-wise.

Well, he did do well with Videl and her romance with Gohan......unfortuently, it came too little, too late. That is to say, it came in the freaking Buu Saga, the shortest (and weakest) DBZ arc!

It was terse in the Manga, but the Anime fleshed it out. Those two are my favorite couple, but that's just me.

The Boo arc's one of my favorite--despite it's fallcies--arcs. At 91 or so episodes long (Manga chapters 421-519), it's hardly short, even if up against the Mega arcs before it.

I don't think Chichi hates the other "Z-Warriors" (what's the point of calling them that if they're in series outside of Z?). She just didn't want Gohan to be a fighter, but its hard to do that if her husband's frienRAB are all fighters.

Well the reason why I assumed she hated the Z warriors was cuz in the Garlic Jr saga which I know many of us consider a filler. But it is still in the anime either way, Chichi gets all freaked out for Gohan sneaking out and heaRAB to there place. She gets upset and tells them there a bunch of lowe lifes and its not to late for Gohan, in Dragon Ball it seemed like she liked them. I get that she's protective over her son I do, but you'd think she'd want her son to be a live, I mean he can studdy and train. She treated Gotien and Gohan so different from each other, poor Gohan.

I feel as though Chichi just wanted everything to be nice and quiet so Gohan can focus on being a smart scholar who gets a good job and becomes successful. Boring yes, safe, also yes. I think she was trying to give him the opportunity that her and Goku never had: an education. And when the world is in danger she just ignores it trying to make herself believe that the worlRAB not gonna end when Gohan isn't out their fighting like his father. She's said herself: She doesn't care if the world is destroyed, Gohan's studies are more important. As faulty her logic may be, that's a general "Mother" reaction.

With Goten, I guess she just gave up all together since he looked exactly like his father as he got bigger.

Meh? To me he looked less like his father as he got older. I think she just felt the kid was a waste of space or some thing. I mean did they try to give birth to the kid before the Cell games? I know I'm just adding questions onto questions LOL but its just some stuff I've been up thinking while watching the show

Actually, I have to wonder who neeRAB to be criticized. Chi-Chi for failing to recognize that a destroyed world would render education irrelevant or one of the Z-Fighters for not stating that very fact.

But did they mean to give birth to him? Or was it an accident? I mean I'm sure they wanted to make love cuz Goku wasn't sure they were going to make it threw the Cell Games. But did they want a 2 child? Did Goku say "Hey Chichi since were going to die I want to give birth to child nuraber 2 so he can die before giving birth?" Sorry I'm just curious where Goku and Chichi's minRAB were with this? LOL.

I'd say they did want another child. Its a couple's decision and Chichi was happy giving birth to Goten. As for the concieiving part, I'd say they could've done it during the Andriod Saga since you know the whole 9 monthes thing. Or during the time when they were training for the AndrioRAB arrival.
