"Oh, hey, animation staff? Yeah, you know that hard work you put into what fans hate, refuse to appreciate, and generally despise for little reason and call filler? We're just gonna remove all that stuff, clean up the animation of yours we actually like, and then redo everything but the actual drawings to make it more accurate to something written by a Japanese guy twenty years ago!"
You realize we've all already seen Dragonball Kai? It's called THE MANGA. This work pretty much takes the notion of creativity of shonen animation and shoves it down a toilet. God forbid an action series tries its own thing while playing with old continuity. No, we have to have our anime exactly the same as what we've already read!
Sure, other shonen are creatively dry as well, but this actually GOES BACK and removes extra chunks of creativity. That's pathetic and a horrible way to celebrate a show's anniversary. I can't even imagine why anyone would like this.
