the difference is, and what Wilson was alluding to is;-

that doing it in a car park "sounds" FUNNY.

It is unusual. I think it sounds funny too. Only because I wouldn't have thought of setting up witches hats in a car park on a 1098 and doing it myself.

It is not THE NORM for scraping one's knees. Un-arguably so. But High five Five1 for being out there enough to have done so. We all slaute him.

Get over yourselves, read between the lines the lot of you, and get on with riding.

High Five1 everyone.

what a cool idea !!,dont have a carpark handy here.but maybe if i put some knobbies on the 999,i can try the same out in the back paddock....hj

I have apologised for giving him shit and said well done you have missed my point all together but you guys continue with your self righteous bullshit on the subject as it wasn't me who dug up the negative points in this thread we have a difference of opinion and if you think a carpark is where you belong knock your socks off cat.

Heard an interesting back feed comment last night..

Rode with a new bloke and his mate on the past weekend. Mate has a new 675, and his mate has a 929 blade.

I was sticking with the blade bloke though the twisties over Mt Lindsay. (Hi BMan) . He was hanging off and dragging knees through most of the corners.. still buggered one up around a blind hairpin, I rounded it to see him over half way across the lane and struggling to get it back. Luckily there was no traffic. shortly after he slowed and I went past so we were playing again. I was pretty much not shifting in my seat at all, didn't really feel the need, there were 3 corners I decided I'd better move a little.. If I pass some-one and think I'll be going a little hotter than I normally would I'll shift across..

Came back to me that he thought I couldn't ride because I wasn't hanging off.. hahaha. For a start I don't think I ride THAT quick, and I think it's kinda dumb to be dragging on the street.. plus I like to brake, roll and punch the gas out of the corners..

Not taking it personally.. but didn't think I couldn't ride.. haha I'll have to edit the movie and post it in the next couple of days..

I've had peeps say that if I don't hang off and drag the knee they will leave me for dead. I don't hang off, not knee dragging hang off anyway and I've always been as fast or faster around corners as anybody. Been riding 40 years so far.

I ain't no Mike Hailwood, but he didn't hang off either.
