These are a set of Michelin Power Ones after a track day at Laguna Seca. They are awesome super-sticky track/street tires. My friend put her set on the same day (yeah, the girl from the earlier link) and she wore hers out pretty damn fast! I think she got in 2 track days and about 2 months of street time and they were gone! I still have mine on but I have 3 ducatis so it's hard to keep track of how much wear and tear each gets! :-)

congrats on the knee drag, but if I may make a suggestion, if this is your first track event, you may want to start with something smaller, and less expensive. Ive owned alot of big bikes but once I put my ego away and started tracking smaller bikes the skills came alot quicker. First track bike EX250, then a SV650. Lots of schools offer bike rentals if you really want to learn

I agree... Ego is definatley not the issue. I thought about getting a cheap 600cc trackbike, but unfortunately my wife didn't see my logic. I'm gonna give this a try on my Duc (I will be taking it easy) You're right, I would definatly learn more and learn faster if I didn't have to worry about dumping an expensive bike.

If trackdays become another expensive hobby for me, maybe I'll consider a dedicated trackbike next year. I need some more time to sell the idea to the boss
