Dragged a Knee today - - First Time!

I have been riding streetbikes for 16 years but I'm a prime example of "time on the bike does not equal skill" For years I was content to take the corners nice and easy and run like a bat out of hell in the straits.

This year, when I got my Duc I decided it was a time for change. I recently assembled all the needed gear and today I went out with the goal of loosing my virginity.

I found a nice parking lot that was free of debris and vehicles. After setting up a mock turn, I just kept hitting it at faster and faster speeds until my lean angle put my knee on the road.
WOW! What a feeling. My confidence in the bike is boosted to a new level. I have my first track day coming up on Sept22. I can't wait to get to the track and polish it up.

Here's a pic of my newly scraped knee puck.

Sorry but I find the whole thing a little amusing so let me start again..

Congratulations on getting your kneedown in the car park now your ready for the track.

Anyway pal I wouldn't be calling anyone a fucktard. You're the one that's taken 16 years to learn how to drag a knee.

Wooopeee!!

Ease up! No need to be a douche! Show a little support! Not everyone rides at the same level! The fact that he has taken his time, and set up a safe place to practice dragging is commendable!

WAY TO GO FIVE1! I remember my first time proudly! A friend of mine got a picture of her 'Losing it' for the first time shown on AMA Primetime when they used to show viewer's pic.

We were all very proud of her and you should be proud too.

Push yourself but Don't EVER let ANY asswipe push you to do something stupid on your bike!

F*&* those punks who say shit like "look at those chicken strips" or "what do you do commute on that thing?" Man...this really should be in the "what shits you" thread!!!
