Have any of you DP seat owners tried the Sargent also? I'd like to know how they compare.
I have a new Sargent and I'm not feeling the love but maybe I just need to get used to it.

I've got 2 years / 10,400 street miles on my DP race seat. It's the neoprene pad version, P/N 96984107B.
Paid $156.69 for it two years ago at Commonwealth in Louisville, KY.
It has a bit of wear on the left side from the way I sit on the bike. I've done some 200 - 300 mile rides with no issues. It's a great seat.
My '06 999R Xerox came with the Sargent seat on it. After one ride, I took it off and put the stock seat back on. One of these days, I'm going to get the neoprene race seat for it.

Hey guys, Ducati has changed the neoprene seat. The old P/N 96984107B has been superceded to P/N 96776608B. The new style seat is not a neoprene pad any more. It is a neoprene like material over a seat pad. The fabric bunches up when you move around on it. There are no holes like the old style one. If you order the old P/N, Ducati ships the new P/N.
I found one of the old style seats online. Here's a pic of my Bayliss with the old style neoprene seat installed.

It's got 'Ducati Performance' plastered all over it man !!
Are you brand new to Ducatis ??

You could try a Ducati Dealer..... maybe
