DP Neoprene Seat for 1098

I've had one on my 1098 which now has 15,000 km on it, it was fitted by the previous owner but I think from when the bike was almost new and it shows no signs of wear.
The only problem I've found is the neoprene lifting from the base on the 2 front corners where your legs rub, easy enough to fix though with some contact cement.
They look great too.

I guess there are two seats: a neoprene wrapped seat, and a neoprene foam pad. Ducati is going to stop making one (the neo pad I think, correct me if I'm wrong) with the other being the more streetable of the two. Does anyone have a definitive part number for the neoprene wrapped seat?

How's the side to side mobility with this thing? I would like to not be sliding forward like crazy like the stocker but being able to readily slide right and left is clearly desirable...

Can you have your cake and eat it too with this seat?

I may just bite the bullet and get this thing right away...On my first ride this was one of the highlights...seemed like I was constantly kissing the tank with the ol' gonads...

Cheers

Wilson beat me to it. Side to side should be (is) easy.
Arse off the seat. Float across side to side. If you do drag side to side, this seat will not make it easy. Its supoosed to stick.
