doxycycline initial breakout

How long does it take to see results on doxycycline and does it cause an initial breakout?
 
By initial breakout, do you mean a rash? That's not normal.

You did try everything else before resorting to antibiotics, right?
 
doxy never helped my acne neither did minocyclin, but both gave me chronic yeast infections that would not go away until I stopped taking them. Hope you have better luck than I did. BTW doxy and mino make birth control less effective so if you are on it then be careful.
