I went for my 14 week u/s yesturday and the lady was looking at the baby and checking everything was ok. I asked her if the baby had down syndrome and she couldn't give me a answer even know that was what she was suppost to be checking for, as she didn't answer my question I then asked her if she saw anything that suggested it might have downs and she said only a proper test will tell. Anyone had anything like this before??
I am only 20 so I thought the risk would be low.
I also did the triple blood test yesturday and I was a smoker until I found out I was pregnant at 11 weeks and she seemed really concerned the smoke might not be out my system and my effect my blood test. Is this paranoia or is she not telling me something?
