I have a Sony Eric W810i. I recorded a conversation on my cell using my memory stick. I want to save and transfer the audio conversation to my PC so I can edit and transcribe the conversation into a word doc while storing the original conversation.

Is there any tools or electronic equipment that I can purchase to make the transferring possible?

What kind of memory card? It's not stored internally on the phone? If that's the case then you can just put the card in a card reader ( like Newegg.com - Rosewill RCR-102 52-in-1 USB 2.0 Card Reader - Card Readers or Newegg.com - IOGEAR GFR201TF USB 2.0 Pocket Card Reader for microSD / TF Cards - Card Readers), put it in the computer and transfer the file to the hard drive.

From there you can use a simple auto editing program, like Audacity (Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder) to edit the file.

Well as for legal issues, you might want to watch who you share the conversation with.
If the other guy on the line sues you for it you for leaking it onto the internet without his consent can get in big trouble.

Just a little heads up.
And if you have Limewire or Bearshare, without giving permission for them to take the audio file, they still rip it from your computer and goes on, so be careful guys ;)
