Download service books ???

Does anyone know if its at all possible to download service books (like an application) as opposed to having them sent to the phone??? Situation :: Had to do a wipe. Deleted Docs-to-go before wiping ( i forgot that deleting it would give me problems). When the berry rebooted, the (setup email) icon was missing and now i cant receive or setup emails. Further more i don't have my service books and can only use the t-mobile browser so basically the BIS isn't active. I found a way to reinstall Docs-to-go after the fact but that didn't fix anything. Normally i would just reinstall the OS which i think i damaged by removing Docs buuuuut (on top of all of that) my mini usb port is shot so i cannot connect to my P.C. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I've already done both of these steps. I've also tried switching sim cards with my wife who also has a bb. That actually worked for me one time in the past but now it just seems like I possibly deleted something somehow. I know that deleting Docs to go will screw up the device but I just don't remember how.

Other than calling your carrier and having them push your service books to you or re-installing the operating system I am not sure there are any other answers.

Using the BlackBerry Web Client should definitely allow you to resend service books to your device, without needed to call your carrier. You need to ensure that your handset displays GPRS in uppercase to allow it to receive the information, though. Double check your mobile network connections on the device to ensure that data services is set to 'on' and make sure that no icons are accidentally hidden in the main menu, also.

If sending service books from the BlackBerry Web Client yourself doesn't resolve the problem and you have done a Register Now under the Host Routing Table menu, then I would agree with Moderncowboy and say that now is your queue to call your carrier and check that the provisioning is still correctly enabled and that they can see your device registered to your BIS username. If not, they should be able to get it registered with you and if it is, they should have the ability to send the service books to your device for you.

I hope that this helps you find out where to go from here. Best of luck!
