Since Friday, I keep getting the "Download Interactive Application" pop-up on my 9200. No matter what I select (yes,no or cancel) it still keeps popping up. It happened Friday evening, Saturday morning until about 3pm, and again today at about 6am until this post.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Thanks,
Paul

The only time I see this is if I have accidentaly landed on an Interactive Channel.

To escape I turn OFF the 9200, turn it back ON and immediately channel down.

I am not pressing any buttons on the receiver or the remote. This morning I was watch the F1 race from a PVR recording and at about 6:00am MST the pop-up kept coming up.

I called BELL and got their India support. Standard follow the book reset of the receiver. I am expecting the popup to return as I did a reset of the receiver on Friday.

Pretty sure I never said you were pressing any buttons, I just told you how I "escape" if I land on the Interactive Channels.

Hope you enjoyed the race..... 3rd place is not safe even after being on the podium...Eh..?

I think there are problems with the Interactive TV software. I had to take the weather channel off my favorites because it starts downloading the minute you surfed by it.

Pinza, sounded like you were talking about hitting an interactive channel when flipping through the channels. I can be sitting there watching TSN and the popup will just show up. Very odd. Poor Trulli, down to 12th. Braun is amazing, hope they keep it up.

Nope, it brings up the iTV menu (6 screens and 7 options along the bottom).

I found out what was going on when I went to grab the original remote (I use a Harmony 880). Someone threw some stuff on top of the remote in the drawer where it is stored. When I opened the drawer I could see the LED on the remote. Glad to figure out it is not a hardware issue. DOH!

Thanks,
Paul

Now you know why I pull the batteries out of all my spare remotes....lol

Glad you figured it out and that you reported back to the Forum.

Cheers

TSN actually does have an interactive feature (on the SD version). It is called TSN Extra. I use it a lot it tkaes a few seconds to load, but it isn't too bad. No HD version though.
