When the Stones are finished, Metallica will be the uncontested greatest live band. Go if you can, and I still have yet to see Clutch regardless of the fact that they play 4 hours away 100 times a month.

I've paid $180 to see Metallica before, I'd pay again.

Soulfly were awesome!! Proper heavy, was like halfway back from the front to the sound desk thing. Crowd went mad for "Back To The Primitive" and "Seek n Strike", was truly epic...

I was there during the riots, they were outside my tent! Couldnt go to the loo because of the riot police at one point! Scary. Went to see the massive fire that was lit, there was three when we got there! Went on for like 5 hours! So yeah you should go next year...I know I am! :D

metallica previewed some new song

METALLICA premiered a brand new song during their headlining appearance Tuesday (June 6) at Waldbuhne in Berlin, Germany. According to several fans that attended the gig, the as-yet-untitled track is about eight minutes long with a "killer main riff" and "lots of double-bass parts."
