i am 32 years old and 14 weeks pregnant now, besides prenatal, i am taking thyroid meds for my subclinical hypothyrodism. i just done my NT ultrasound this week. today, my ob called me and tell me one of the blood test is positive, gives me a ratio of down syndrome of 1/100. He didn't explain more to me, and just wanted me to go to long beach memorial hospital next friday for further test. I am sooo worry, cause this is my first pregnancy and we've been expecting this baby for quite a while.i know i have the option for cvs or aminocentesis now to make sure.but wait until next week is a torture.
i want to ask if any one have the same situation as i do, and i came out baby is normal. i am thinking is this baby has a high risk for down syndrome, would my next baby be the same?
