down payment for a brand new 08 or 09 bike?

so i have a co signer who has a credit of 750 and i have a credit of 635 so how much would a down payment be for an either 08 or 09 gsxr 600 that is a little over 10 grand for both? and do i need insurance? i live in fl and i have been riding for a couple years thanks
no i know a down payment will at least be 1000 especially with a credit score of 750 plus i make about 2 grand a month he is just a co signer
and also will some explain to me what full coverage is like what all you need and how much it will be for a 19 yr old female
well the 08 is brand new and a little under 10 grand like a couple 100 or so but i also had to add the gear and all
 
More then likely you will have to put down ATLEAST $1,000 and they will issue insurances to you threw one of there selected companies if you finance threw the dealer. If your getting a loan from the bank the bank will give you like 20 days to get insurances on the bike. Like the guy said 10k for a GSXR is a RIP OFF! As for insurances just because of your age and the type of the bike you should be looking at atleast $1800.00 a year despite your female parts.
 
Most dealers will finance you for little to no money down unless your credit is atrocious. Just expect to be paying 15%+ on the interest. The value of a motorcycle drops very quickly in the first year. Expect to be upside down(owe more than its worth) on the loan almost right away if you put no money down.

You will need insurance(the finance company will require full coverage) and a license.
