Doujinshi based off American properties

I'm not 100% sure if this topic belongs in this forum... if not, please move it to where it should be.

Okay, so I was thinking today, "self, what kinds of doujinshi based off western cartoons/books/TV/what-have-you exist out there?" I am fully aware that they exist, but I'm curious as to what variety one will find when it comes to such. Be it ones made by non-Japanese or by Japanese... ones posted online or just descriptions to booklets sold at cons like Comiket.

Webcomics-wise, I am aware of this (http://www.ppg.snafu-comics.com/) and this (http://www.obscurezodiac.com). I saw this (http://ppgcom.gooside.com/doujinshi/index.html) posted in a thread from two years ago in this very forum. XD And I've seen Batman doujinshi for sale on Ebay.

I remember hearing about a South Park dojinshi. There's also a series of books called "Toon Guide", I think.

Huh. I just found a Danny Phantom related doujinshi (http://unknown-person.deviantart.com/art/DP-doujinshi-pg-1-23209246). Of course, it's on DevArt and made by a non-Japanese artist (I think.)

The only doujin I recall ever seeing was one on Xmen a VERY long time ago. I don't recall it being well drawn either, but like I said, it was a long time ago.

There was actually a bunch of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle manga/doujin out there, some of it was and isn't based on that TMNT anime special.

A quick search on google should yield some results.

I did the search and I, indeed, found some cover scans at the Technodrome forums. They're mostly of the TMNT 2003, though. And many were drawn by that famous artist, Sakan.

Sadly, that's how it always is with fetishes. Slash, Furry, and *shudders* Vore...there are always audiences who find it attractive for some reason or other. (With Slash, it seems to be mostly teenage girls. Unless it's two female characters we're talking about, then it's usually teenage guys.) :sweat:
