I got kicked out of my home it was my fathers house and he dont like to pay taxes so the tax people sold it and the people that bought it kicked me out without a eviction notice just get out. And broke the steps leading up to it all up so it would be hard for me to get my furniture out (Im figuring they wanted it). but I still got some of it out. But the furniture just ruined infront of a shop building that Im half owner of (yes names on the deed) that my dad (the other half owner)has changed the locks on and wont let me in. Ive called the police several times and they say yes the first one to change the locks has possesion of the property and you cant take the lock off. Ive had some friends here in last little while having domestic problems and the police are telling them that they cant lock the other one out and take possession of the property? whats the difference here? 1 friends girl is not even on the deed and they wont let him change the locks. does anyone know how the law reads on this? there is definatly a double standard going on here. I just wanna know which way the law really reads I havent got money to pay a lawyer to find out. Ive defiantly had alot of shady bussiness going on here that I gotta work on and believe me this is just the tip of the ice berg Another law I have learned that I dont think is right is I had no idea that a family member can write a bogus bill of sale for stuff (a boat) and take it and its just a civil matter no laws broken. heck got me eyeing my other family members stuff Lol not realy. But this one family member had no problems taking my stuff had the police help him take it from me and me tellin them hey that was in my name and was mine and they just tell me its a civil matter. I gotta do something and I wanna go public with all this so everyone will know how to take stuff from other family members I feel these are things that people should know sure would have saved me alot of heartache had I known. I just wanna get a good idea of whats right and whats wrong concerning the changing of the locks and the bogus bill of sales before I go printing stuff to educate people.
