The only reason I even touched MTV was for Daria... and frankly, I'm not even sure what that show was doing on MTV either. To be fair, they did have a tendency to use a variety of current songs in the soundtrack.
Double Standard? More like MTV isn't worth caring about and preserving at this point. With Cartoon Network, most of us are wishing that the channel would get a clue before it *does* become another MTV...
