Double major - Economics and Sociology? Or a major in Sociology with a minor

in Economics? I'd like to get into the UN, WHO, something of the sort, eventually working with/starting NGOs.
And Id like to go on to do a masters in either sociology/economics/social work in an ivy league university, such as Harvard, Stanford, or some such.

Any tips/suggestions/recommendations?
