Double jointed shoulders causing sore neck and arm

I have double jointed shoulders. They pop out of place pretty easily depending on the position they're in. At night I sleep on my side and rest my head on my arm. Lately my shoulders (depending on which side I'm sleeping on) have been popping out of place when I do this. My neck, arms and shoulders have been incredibly sore. Does anyone have another sleeping position I could try? Or a stretch that would help the soreness? The problem is I cannot sleep on my back. I know that would be a quick fix but I get really bad sleep paralysis when I sleep on my back. Honestly, I'd rather have sore body parts than get SP every night.

have you ever tried strengthening exercises for your shoulders? Mind don't pop out of place, but I have weak, stretchy tendons so when I don't keep up my exercises, my shoulders can get really sore from sleeping on them. This is not a quick fix and will take a few weeks of exercising, but what it does is give your body the ability to "hold" your joints in place easier. Meanwhile, have you asked a doctor about your joints?
