Double Dragon cartoon

I'm trying to find more information on the old Double Dragon cartoon, to be honest, there's not much to go around (in part because of people's feelings of the sho and in part because BKN and DiC won't do anything with it).

I mean there's stuff from season two that I know is true (Countdown betrays Shadow Master, Jawbreaker becomes a Dragon Warrior as does a lady with armor from season one) that is not revealed anywhere on the internet. If you remeber anything and I mean anything about the series, I'd much apprciate the help.

I loved the arcade game (spent a lot of quarters on it ), and I probably watched the cartoon - but I don't remember a whole lot about it. IMDB and TV.com have information on the show. The best site I found, though, was Double Dragon Dojo ... there are episode summaries for most of Season One, and only the first episode of Season Two.

The Double Dragon show is a sad example of a dying franchise getting punched in the face and shot through the heart (the movie that followed was the equivalent of being Hadoukened repeatedly). It's probably a strong competitor along with Captain N for "worst VG cartoon of all time" and I'm not surprised that nothing has become of the rights.

I didn't seem to mind it much, I guess it was because of my lack of knowledge of how the games were, all I remebered was the Lee Bros. and Abobo.

That's pretty much every single video game cartoon ever, save the Street Fighter II movie and maybe the Darkstalkers OVA (as brainless as it was at times)

I've never seen Double Dragon the cartoon but I have all six issues of the Marvel Comic book from the early 90's. Most of the issues were written by Dwayne McDuffie. I thought the story was pretty good. I'm not sure if it was an adaptation of the show or not.
