I have a Samsung Lcd tv thats about a year and a half old and lately when I turn it on after it's been off for a while the screen is full of purple dots. I turn off the tv and turn it back on and they are gone. What is going on? I thought it was dad pixels but aren't they suppose to stay on the tv permanently? It's happened quite a few times but it goes away easily and they don't appear while I am watching tv. Oh and its not the connection cause when I change the input it's still there it is definetly the tv. How much will his cost to fix? I'm pretty sure the warranty is up.
