Do's and Don't exercises for Back Pain

Hi,

I wanted to know what are the exercises to do for back pain and the exercises which we are not suppossed to do which will affect backpain.

I have lower back pain and am very confused with what to do and what not to do( very important than what to do).

1) Will Push up hurts people with backpain
2) Any exercise to build up chest is good or bad when i have back pain.

Please help me in this regard I need the general information.
 
Don't do weight-bearing exercises because these will put pressure on your spinal joints. Instead, try isometric exercises like McKenzie and Williams. Hope this will help.
 
You might consider seeing a physical therapist for an evaluation so that they can determine with your doctor what exercises are best for your inidividual condition. Each one of us has an individual set of circumstances and what may be right for me may not be the correct exercise for you.

I personally have found alot of help from walking in a pool or moving my legs in a spa under the water.
