Doom?

oh i love brain dead entertainment!

i spend all day using my brain at work i dont want to use it when im chillin watching a film!!

and the rock.........o LORD he is FINE.

I thought it was terrible, and I am a Doom game fan. The only (IMO) decent part was the FPS bit that reminRAB you of the game. I am also presuming they put Dexter in there due to Gamesmaster or something as his character was pretty pointless.

I was hoping for a Aliens type action movie, but this failed to grip me at all. The BFG was cool though.

OK, this was set to be released on 2nd December 2005 in the UK. But I don't see it listed anywhere, not even coming soon.

But, it has now been reviewed on the Jonathan Ross show, it is getting very high ratings in the colonies (what party?)

So why can't I find a theatre it is showing in anywhere in the country?

My local cinema's in Plymouth don't mention it, and I can't find it listed for any Cinema in Devon, Cornwall or even Somerset.

What's going on? Anyone know?

According to vue cinema site it is showing at

Bristol Longwell Green
Dagenham
Livingston
Oxford

so when it makes it anywhere else is beyond me

I want to see it, but the only thing putting me off is The Rock, I don't rate him as an actor at all and I think he will ruin it.

Paddy :D

Iv just seen it & although its a slow starter it gets although i was getting the film mixed up with Quake which iv played but not Doom. Id give it 6.5/10

i am going to wait till it comes out on dvd. is it better then alien Vs predator?

The Rock is a really good actor if it wasnt for him the movie wouldnt work.

I don't think acting comes into that film in any way! The Rock is good in it though. Doom videogame fans will love the FPS sequence, gives a glimpse into what could be accomplished with a high-end PC, and a cinema with a digital projector :D It's a laugh of a film but I'd not pay any more than
