its application standards? To be honest University should not be for everyone. To maintain our reputation shouldn't we keep the riff raff out and give places who not only come from good schools and have fantastic grades but also come from a good background (ie. parents who are educated, parents who have a good reputation and wealth, etc). Im not talking about rubbish Universities like Sheffield hallam or Huddersfield or Wolverhampton. All average people can go there. But the top 20, should vet students background as well as grades
