Actually the economy only blew up because of the Democratic Congress that has been in charge for the last two years. You can thank your Elmer Fudd (Barney Frank) for this entire mess.

Do you think that he is the messiah that he is going to roll down Pennsylvania avenue towards he white house and magically the economy is going to be great, al Qaeda is going to surrender, and we all going to have clean cheap energy in our homes?

There is not human way to accomplish any of these goals he has promised in the immediate future, not even in the next four years of his presidency. Hence, all his campaign promises are a lie.

I worked on the Obama campaign and I am overjoyed that he won.

I am very proud of my country, especially given that a black man with the middle name Hussein was voted President.

We came together as a nation and voted for the best person!

The Bush economy was based mostly in part on the housing and mortgage markets. With no regulations in place, a wild west type monetary explosion hit and fueled Bush's "ownership society." While the scam worked, it infused tremendous amounts of cash into the economy which consumers spent very aggressively while also racking up their credit card debt. This also made the rich, much richer. 1920's rich. When that unraveled we had a complete economic meltdown.
