It only bugs me when it's covered by some no name and they ruin it. Other than that, you gotta make money somehow.

No, it does not bother me. Times have changed and this is a way for new acts and old to advertise their music, I guess. Yes, they get paid for doing it. Yes, I would still like them, what difference does it make to me? If the song/album is good, I will still listen to it!
now that almost 1/2 of the downloads are illegal
I don't judge bands
they have to earn a living, and pay the bills
it is VERY expensive to record all that music that everyone steals
and it's hard to make money touring these days (for the MAJORITY of bands)
it is more expensive than you think, hauling all that equipment, lights, PA etc around
you're question should be.......

I don't really care. I just care about when singers start changing their type of music for the mainstream crowd, not playing small shows anymore, forgetting about all their old fans who liked them when everyone else hated them, and just care all about money.
