I have owned Cingular 2225 & Audivox 5600 & currently have 8125. Here is my wish list.

Must haves and these are in order of what I use the most:
1) Microsoft Outlook for calander and contacts to sync up for work I recieve emails constantly from clients. I don't need word, excel, notes, etc
2) Keyboard for easy typing
3) Great clearity (clients demand it)
4) Blue tooth & speaker phone
5) The bigger the screen the better
6) Mp3 player use it for working out

Cost: the sky is the limit as this is my best used tool for making $$
Style of phone: dont' like slide out keep boards, don't want touch screen dialing because can't feel the buttons. A thin or slim phone so less bulky. I like how the 8125 speaks to me and tells me my appionments. Quad band.

Could careless about:
Camera, internet, wifi, ring tones, etc

If your someone in sales you know what I am looking for.

Any model Blackberry would be good. BB's are wizards at email; it is their purpose. All models sync with Outlook. I use a service that syncs my contacts and calendar wirelessly. Cingular has the 8700 and soon will have the 8100. Both have really reliable operating systems.

I'd look out for the Palm Lennon or Nitro, the next gen Palms that are supposd to hit cingular. They have both the stylus and the qwerty keyboard so you can pick what you like for input.

Other qwerty phones to look out for are the Nokia E61/E62 and the Imate JAQ. The GSM version of the Motorola Q is due out soon as well. Then there's of course the Blackberry phones.

Most if not all phones mentioned above have push email capabilities and full, not slide-out qwerty keyboards and they are all geared towards buisness users.

RE: the 8100 Pearl, the Suretype keyboard isn't really bad at all. Some even prefer it. Neverless, the Blackberry 8700 has a full keyboard and if you can wait a month or two, Blackberry will introduce the 8800 which will have a full keyboard.
