Don't know what I'm doing

I had an iPAQ that died a few months ago. I never did really figure out how to use it. I replaced it with a PalmTX that seems easier to me in some ways but more complicated in others. :confused: Can anyone recommend something other than the instruction book that I don't have that could give me more information as to how to use it? I put all the information for it on my PC and would also like to put it on my laptop. When I tried to load my laptop, nothing happened. Is it possible to have the information in both places. I'd like to be able to transfer intormation back and forth that way. I feel like such a moron with this. I read some of the other posts and I feel like I'm reading Greek--Ancient Greek at that! Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
 
As of 1 week ago, I thought PDA's were overhyped toys like gameboys for adults. Now after purchasing a Palm T|X I stand corrected. I can't believe all this thing can do. Where do you want to start?
It is possible to store PDA backup info in 2 locations, but the second location has to be a read only (as the manual says) so as not to confuse the sync.
